Hi, I'm Sam!
A classically trained opera singer by education and an administrative professional by experience, I am now an English teacher to those learning or improving English as a foreign language. TEFL certified since 2023, I co-founded TRL CULTURE with my husband in 2025, and I currently work with a range of language learners from secondary school aged children to business professionals.

Entirely dependent upon the needs of the learner, my lessons generally focus on elements of grammar, vocabulary development, conversation and comprehension, and diction/pronunciation through exercises, reading texts, and writing samples. For more advanced learners, I offer copy editing assistance for public facing texts, resume/CV revisio

While I am based in Sibiu, Romania, I offer personalized, one-on-one private, virtual language lessons via Google Meet.
My current rate is 150 lei + VAT per 50 minutes for private students.
